Sabyasachi (Saby) Mitra
Partner
With over 30 years of experience as an economist, Saby has lived and worked in India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, the Philippines, and Germany. He worked for over 17 years at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where his last assignment was as Director, Public Sector Management Group. He led projects on conceptualizing, structuring, and financing of economic corridors/industrial parks in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Saby conceptualized India’s East Coast Economic Corridor (ECEC), the nation’s first coastal corridor which was later incorporated in the National Industrial Corridor Development Program. He led ADB’s engagement in the logistics sector in the region and was actively engaged with the Indian government to support the National Logistics Policy and worked on the first-generation multi-modal logistics parks, coastal shipping policy and businesses processes related to logistics. Saby anchored ADB’s innovative loan to Bangladesh to strengthen climate resilience, transition to a low-carbon economy and mitigate GHG emissions. He has a doctoral degree from the University of Leeds, a M.Phil. in Economics from India’s Jawaharlal Nehru University, and a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Calcutta.
Anindya Mallick

Anindya’s focus areas have included urban transformation, inclusive economic development and education & skill development. With over 28 years of experience, Anindya has been a Partner with the Government practice at Deloitte for over 8 years, guiding various Central and State governments and agencies like World Bank, FCDO and ADB in policy formulation and implementation. Besides India, he has assisted clients in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Maldives and Malawi. Anindya is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost & Management Accountant.
Atul Sanganeria

With 15 years of expertise in economic development, Atul specializes in industrial transformation and multimodal logistics sector development. He has led major transformation programs and played a key role in supporting India’s National Logistics Policy and PM GATI SHAKTI Master Plan. He has worked with ADB, World Bank, USAID, UK-AID, UN agencies, and private players to drive logistics reforms in South Asia. Atul holds a Masters degrees in economics, policy and finance from Jawaharlal Nehru University and National University of Singapore (NUS Singapore).
Arindam Guha

Arindam has over 30 years of professional experience, including 19 years as Partner and Practice Lead in Big 4 firms. His clients have included various Central / State Governments across South Asia as well as development agencies on issues involving regional competitiveness, infrastructure development & financing, trade facilitation, policy & regulatory streamlining for improving ease of doing business. Arindam has also advised eminent corporates across the strategy formulation through implementation cycle, focusing on areas like organization structuring human resources development and technology enabled business process redesign. He holds a B.Tech (Hons) from IIT Kharagpur and PGDM from IIM Bangalore.
